Molex LLC Acquires Soligie Inc.

Molex LLC, a provider of interconnect solutions, has expanded its printed electronics portfolio with the acquisition of Soligie Inc. The company’s solutions provide an alternative to rigid printed circuit boards (PCBs) or copper flex circuits in sensor applications.

Soligie sensors, according to a company press release, are ideal for measuring temperature, shock and humidity, physiological monitoring, environmental and biochemical sensors. The company’s manufacturing process yields small, flexible all-in-one sensor solutions that can integrate batteries, RFID, LEDs and other passive devices.

Molex has manufacturing capabilities for electronic device bonding and will provide services for Soligie products.
