A subsidiary of AREVA TA, 01dB-Metravib (Lyon, France) is the acoustics and vibration company in the group, and offers NetdB, which features a standalone multichannel data recorder and 4- to 12-channel PC-based Noise & Vibration Analyzer.

Plus, NetdB can be remotely controlled from a Windows Mobile PDA or from an XP/Vista Notebook through WiFi connection. Its flexible system is composed of 4- to 12-channel within one single unit accepting Volt & IEPE standard inputs. For 200V inputs, you can add 8 more channels on NetdB unit’s rear panel.

More channels are available by connecting two or more units together with a simple Ethernet cable offering easy setup and synchronization of all channel recording using the company’s patented Ethernet link technology. It includes built-in batteries for more portability and autonomy with up to two hours of operating life, and an internal hard disk (100GB) allowing for up to 15 hours of continuous measurements on 12 channels @51.2kHz with 24-bit accuracy. An USB-2.0 interface for more disk space is available if needed. It is TCP/IP controlled using a simple set of documented instructions for customized applications with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or any C++ program.

Plus, a Wireless NetdB from 01dB-Metravib is designed for the recording of noise and vibration data. It is based on wireless communication technology (WiFiTM connection), the new remote control developed by 01dB-Metravib can be used to control the NetdB vibro-acoustic recording system.

A standalone Pocket-PC-based application can remotely control the NetdB recorder,  which includes an integrated battery. This battery allows for the storage of noise and vibration data over several hours. For further details on the NetdB, contact 01dB-Metravib.
