Third Wave Systems Announces AdvantEdge Production Modules

Third Wave Systems, Inc. (Minneapolis,  MN) released AdvantEdge Production Module version 5.5, process-analysis software that integrates workpiece material properties, CAD/CAM inputs, and machine dynamics to help users identify opportunities for process improvements.

Among AdvantEdge Production Module 5.5’s new and/or enhanced features in the Production Module 2D is automated turning optimization and expanded material model database. In the Production Module 3D features include force computation speed improvement – two times as fast as version 5.4; selective force computation; and expanded VERICUT import capabilities.

With the introduction of version 5.5, AdvantEdge Production Module continues its rise to the top of the machining modeling software industry. Software benefits include reduced cycle times, maximized machine utilization, and reduced tool breakage.
