Design Prototyping Technologies (DPT; Syracuse, NY) announced the availability TangoPlus and DurusWhite, Objet Geometries’ (Rehovot, Israel) newest PolyJet resins as an addition to their rapid prototyping and low-volume manufacturing services. DPT’s instant quote system makes these resins available, and allows design departments to request basic materials and Digital Materials fabricated by the Connex500 3-D printing system based on PolyJet Matrix technology.
TangoPlus FullCure 930 is characterized as a rubber-like resin, with exceptional elongation at break, durability and high resistance to tearing. Users with designs that demand resistance to deterioration such as gaskets, seals, hoses, and athletic footwear may benefit from this material.
What DurusWhite FullCure430 offers is Notched Izod Impact of 44.22 J/m and simulates the mechanical properties of polypropylene. A broad range of applications requiring a polypropylene-like appearance such as medical equipment, consumer products and automotive components can benefit from this material.
