SYCODE(Panaji, India) has launched MeshCAD for Rhino, an editing and modelingplug-in for Rhinoceros. Powered by MeshLib, MeshCAD for Rhino usesrobust algorithms to create and modify meshes.

According to SYCODE, MeshCAD for Rhino adds several commands to thesurfacing program that can be easily invoked from Rhino using a MeshCADmenu that is appended to the main Rhino menu.

Features of the new plug-in include mesh creation from a set ofunorganized points that can describe a top surface or a closed object;manual mesh editing using commands to edit vertices, edges, faces, andentire meshes; several mesh modeling commands to help in altering thegeneral topology of the mesh for further operations; mesh dataextraction for geometric information such as boundary edges, holes,surfaces, and shells; and mesh tools that amount to utility commands.
