QuadriSpace Corporation (Allen, TX)announced the release of Service Pack 3 (SP3) for all products in its Document3Dseries. This update offers new support for publishing 3D PDF documents withembedded large models so users can leverage the 3D PDF format for large or smalldocumentation. New tools allow users to import bills of material (BOMs) from CADtools or PDM databases.
Uponimport, individual rows are associated with parts in a 3D model, which decreasesthe time required to create illustrations with callouts because QuadriSpaceincludes an integrated callout tool that makes it easy to add callouts thatmatch and stay up-to-date with imported BOMs. BOMs are imported fromExcel.
With SP3,save and load times are reduced — allowing users to spend more time ondocuments, illustrations, and animations and less timewaiting.
The companysays that if your trial has expired and you want to try the new PDF publishingcapabilities, the new installer will provide you with a fresh, new 15-day trialof the complete Document3D Professional Edition.
