3D Systems Corporation recently announced that the company, in partnership with Dreve Otoplastik, plans to introduce a compact hearing aid manufacturing system. Slated for the fall, the V-Flash HA 230 Desktop Manufacturing System can build 3D hearing aid shells within hours. The new system is based on 3D Systems’ Film Transfer Imaging (FTI) technology.
Dreve Otoplastik, a hearing aid and materials manufacturer, is developing materials specifically for the V-Flash HA 230 Manufacturing System to enhance and provide production capabilities to customers. Dreve Otoplastik will be the worldwide distributor for the manufacturing systems.
The system weighs about 100 pounds and has a maximum build volume of 6.75 in. 3 9 in. 3 8 in. More information is available at dreve.com.
