IMSI/Design, the developer of TurboCAD, will begin distributing MecSoft’s line of VisualMILL Computer Aided Machining (CAM) titles.
“MecSoft has a long-standing reputation of delivering affordable and reliable CAM to the CNC machining industry, and we felt the combination of the two companies’ products was a natural solution,” says Bob Mayer, COO of IMSI/Design. “IMSI/Design will continue to offer our popular 2 ½ D CAM Plug-in to TurboCAD, while the VisualMILL products round out our offerings with a true 3D CAM solution our customers can use with TurboCAD Professional.”
Along with the 2 ½ axis and hole making features, VisualMILL Standard’s key milling strategies include the valuable 3 Axis Milling methods such as Horizontal Roughing, Parallel and Horizontal Finishing, and Radial and Spiral Machining. Other features include integrated Toolpath Simulation and a Post Processor.
VisualMILL Standard is now available for $999. A 4-axis module is available for an additional $1,000. TurboCAD Professional costs $1,295.
