Quickparts (Atlanta, GA) launched its new Design For Manufacturing (DFM) services for rapid prototyping and injection molding.
The Quickparts manufacturing team is applying its knowledge of manufacturing and materials to the Design For Manufacturing Services. Quickparts can help customers launch new products in a shorter time frame while reducing manufacturing costs, plus address the manufacturability of products. The service, valued at $300, is offered free of charge to those customers already working with Quickparts on new rapid prototyping or injectino molding projects.
A DFM report is available which includes process flow details, expectations for the build, and final DFM recommendations. The goal of the DFM services is to address the difficult economic times by offering ways for customers to be able to produce products on time and under budget.
