Industry experts will provide insights and guidance on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in simulation, optimizing designs for additive manufacturing, real-world engineering use cases for digital twins, and documenting the business benefits of simulation at the virtual Design & Simulation Summit on Oct. 31, 2024.
This is the fourth online Summit presented by Digital Engineering. You can register for all sessions here.
The Summit will kick off at 12 pm EDT with a panel discussion, Is Your CFD Hallucinating? Unpacking the Opportunities and Challenges of AI for Simulation, led by Senior Editor Kenneth Wong. Experts will discuss how AI, machine learning and reduced order models can optimize simulation workflows. Panelists include Alexander Lavin, founder & CEO of Pasteur Labs and the Institute for Simulation Intelligence (ISI), as well as AI expert Astrid Walle, principal of Astrid Walle CFDSolutions. More panelists will be announced soon.
For the Design track session, How to Make Simulation-Driven Design a Strategic Advantage for Your Company, presenter consultant Mark Meili will explain why simulation is a strategic business advantage. He will also share practical ways to build a culture that values simulation and views it as essential.
Bob English, founder and CEO of Valiant Products, will lead the Additive Manufacturing track, with a presentation called Join the 4th Industrial Revolution with Additive Manufacturing. English will discuss his work with clients on optimizing additive designs and workflows, as well as how simulation can help improve 3D printing results.
In the Digital Twin track, Teresa Alberts, founder and CEO of ITficient, will discuss the impact of digital twins in product development. She will also present real-world case studies of digital twin use in manufacturing.
More speakers will be announced soon.
