3D Systems Corporation has launched its V-Flash Desktop Modeler, a commercially available 3-D modeler priced under $10,000. V-Flash Modelers deliver hard-plastic parts from a desktop printer.
“V-Flash Modelers are ready on your schedule and fit right in your design space to output your next design iteration,” said Buddy Byrum, senior director of 3-D Printing at 3D Systems. “Unlike other 3-D Printers, V-Flash Modelers don’t slow down with multiple model builds, so you can build more parts faster. V Flash parts are made of hard plastic with smooth surfaces, exceptional fine-feature details and balanced physical properties that are true to your design intent.”
The V-Flash Modeler has a 26x27-in. footprint and weighs 146 lbs. It has a build volume of 9x6.75x8 in.
