Symtavision Extends Collaboration with Lauterbach

The partnership enables tighter integration between company software offerings.

Symtavision, a provider of timing analysis solutions for real-time systems, has extended its collaboration with Lauterbach. The company has also unveiled an improved integration of several software platforms. These combined programs ensure the safety and reliability of automotive real-time software while speeding up development and reducing costs, the company states.

With the joint workflow of SymTA/S, TraceAnalyzer and the TRACE32 suite, code for automotive ECUs is processed for target debugging, emulation and software validation. After completing validation, users can visualize and analyze timing traces. The resulting timing models can be processed to perform worst-case and statistical timing analysis.

“We have seen a lot of interest from companies wishing to take advantage of the integration of SymTA/S and TraceAnalyzer with TRACE32 in order to ensure the real-time safety and reliability of software at the same time as speeding up development and reducing cost,” said Kai Richter, chief technical officer of Symtavision. “The new features and functionality afforded by the extended integration greatly enhance their ability to achieve these objectives on an ongoing basis both in relation to current software architectures and potential future software extensions.”
