Enrollment in the Sixth Annual Knovel University Challenge is on track to surpass last year’s record of more than 10,000 entries. With one month to go, more than 4,100 students at 500 colleges and universities from 73 countries have successfully completed 8,400 entries. Several universities have incorporated the challenge into their engineering courses

The Knovel University Challenge presents a series of questions on engineering-related topics, and students can use Knovel to research and find the answers. Eligible entries are based upon correctly answering a minimum of three questions. New this year, students have the option to play one or more levels of difficulty. In addition to the website, the Challenge is also available via a Facebook application to encourage students to compete and share results with friends.

Deadline for entries is Midnight on December 1, 2011. Eligible entries get a chance to win an iPad, iPod Nanos, cash and other prizes.
