Astoria On-Demand Launches for SaaS Community

Astoria Software recently launched its structured content management solution for the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) community with the availability of Astoria On-Demand.

The software is a complete, fully hosted solution that manages the entire author-to-publish dynamic product documentation lifecycle. It gives manufacturers a scalable solution for the rapid creation and delivery of complex product documentation by leveraging the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) technical information standard established by OASIS.

The postal automation division of Siemens Energy and Automation, Inc. will implement the new product. The division is a major supplier of mail-sorting equipment and material handling products and systems. Siemens will use the Astoria solution to support internal and external customer requirements for technical information reuse and maintenance.

Astoria On-Demand is offered on a subscription basis, allowing customers to add users as needed. The company handles the maintenance, testing, staging, and activation of upgrades and patches for Astoria On-Demand.
