Agilent added two new ranges of instruments to its handheld tool portfolio. The U5855A TrueIR thermal imager and the U1450A/60A Series for resistance and wireless testing.
The U5855A sports an ergonomic design for extended use and single-handed operation during thermal imaging. Users can change settings or use functions such as laser pointing, auto scaling and trigger with quick access buttons. TrueIR Analysis and Reporting Tool PC software is available for in-depth analysis and report generation.
The U1450A/60A Series are resistance testers that measure leakage current and circulation resistance for preventative maintenance applications. These testers can be used to check integrity of windings or cables in motors, transformers and electrical installations. Report-generation software is also available, and all five models are certified to IP 67 and Agilent remote link solution compatible.
“We have come a long way since the launch of our first handheld product in 2006, and with the U5855A TrueIR thermal imager, we have expanded our reach into predictive maintenance for industrial applications and building maintenance,” said Ee Huei Sin, vice president, Agilent’s General-Purpose Electronic Measurement Division. “With these two new handheld solutions, we continue to fulfill our ongoing commitment of creating more dependable tools with essential capabilities.”
