3D Systems Corporation (Rock Hill, South Carolina) announced the immediate availability of its affordable, high-definition ProJet SD 3000 3-D Printer, designed to offer professional in-office model-making for large and small design and manufacturing organizations alike.
The ProJet SD 3000 Printer will be useful for the manufacture of consumer products, electronic components, designer packaging, medical devices and study models, plus apparel accessories. At the heart of the ProJet SD 3000, is 3D Systems’ patented Multi-Jet Modeling (MJM) technology, which provides high quality parts with exceptionally smooth surfaces and small feature detail, which make it a good choice for concept development, design verification, form-fit testing and product presentations. Utilizing the MJM “hands-free” support material, users will have the assurance of easy support removal for delicate part features that could otherwise be damaged by other support material technologies.
Features of the ProJet SD 3000 System include a single-pass printhead design that affords high production speed for parts with large footprints or full platform builds of smaller parts. The 3D Printer is designed for in-office use with its quiet operation.
Orders for the ProJet SD 3000 3-D Printer are being taken immediately. For more information about the ProJet SD 3000, visit 3D Systems.
