VoxelMatters, a market analysis company specializing in tracking the global additive manufacturing (AM) industry, released the results of its new comprehensive studies on the technical and traditional ceramic additive manufacturing segments. The two reports, titled, “Technical Ceramic AM Market 2023” and “Traditional Ceramic & Sand AM Market 2023,” collect information on sales and business activities from all major companies operating in these segments today.

The new studies, based on VoxelMatters’ updated database of core AM technical and traditional ceramic companies (AM hardware, AM materials and AM services), provide a comprehensive analyses and forecasts of the global ceramic AM market. For the first time, the technical and traditional ceramics AM segments have been divided into dedicated reports to reflect the different characteristic of each industrial segment, with technical ceramics characterized by (primarily) direct production of small-size, advanced parts and traditional ceramics focusing on large size sand molds and casting applications. The two reports are also available as a bundle.

The technical ceramic AM segment is projected to grow from $113 million in 2022 to $2 billion in revenues by 2032, at 33.5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR). The traditional ceramic and sand AM segment is expected to grow from $137 million to $1.7 billion in revenues, growing at 30.4% CAGR during the same period.
