TraceParts (St. Romain, France) launched its second Christmas Tree Model Contest, to take place until December 19, 2008. Winners will be chosen from among the best Christmas tree images received.

Rules state that contestants must build a Christmas tree using components downloaded from the CAD library at www.tracepartsonline.net. Of the entries, three winners will be selected and the best rendered images will be published on the company website.

Prizes are as follows: first place - one navigation system;  second place - one iPod Nano; and third place - 200 download credits for the use of licensed catalogs of http://www.tracepartsonline.net.

Using any CAD or picture editing software, contestants must design their Christmas trees in 3D, using as many different components available in the TraceParts Online CAD library as possible. Contestants must send a rendered image of their tree before December 19 to [email protected].
