TESAVISIO 200 Debuts at IMTS 2008

Brown & Sharpe TESA (North Kingstown, RI)  a Hexagon Metrology company, announced the introduction of the new TESAVISIO 200 Vision product line at IMTS 2008, Chicago, IL, from September 8 -13, 2008. Well suited for smaller parts, shop floor measurement, and inspection applications in medical, stamping, aerospace, plastics and more, the noncontact video measuring machine is a high precision, scalable system that can be reconfigured at any time.

TESAVISIO 200’s measurement range is 200 x 100 x 150 mm. Included in the TESAVISIO 200 package is a high-resolution Color CCD camera (752 x 582 pixels) with manual focus and course or fine adjustment features. On each axis are mounted linear encoders with 0.05 µm resolution and the system features a variety of fixed lens options, as well as a manual zoom index that can be set to different zoom positions. Included in the configuration are a computer and 19-in. monitor to view high-resolution images captured by the vision system. With the TESA-VISTA software, pricing starts at $14,000.
