In combination with Kubotek and Cadsoft, Technology Education Concepts (TEC) will be unveiling an “all-in-one”  mechanical, manufacturing, and architectural CAD/CAM design package by bundling both Kubotek’s KeyCreator and Keymachinist software with Cadsoft’s Envisioneer software, as well as associated textbooks, in one program called TEC CAD Institute.

In addition, TEC has announced that it and Cadsoft will be donating up to $200,000 worth of Cadsoft’s Envisioneer architectural-design software to Tech-Ed student participants of the Architectural Drafting Competition at the SkillsUSA Championships June 21-25 in Kansas City.

A national non-profit organization, SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry. More than 15,000 people—including students, teachers and business partners—are expected to participate in the week-long SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills event.

“To keep the U.S. competitive, there is a tremendous need to give our children—our students—relevant engineering and design education and technology skills to address current and future challenges,” says Richard Amarosa, president of Technology Education Concepts. “TEC’s comprehensive technology-education curricula solutions,  Cadsoft’s award-winning Envisioneer software, and SkillsUSA’s enriching student-programs will ensure those needs are met.”
