Stratasys, Adobe Partner for 3D Printing

Stratasys, a provider of 3D printing technology, has partnered with Adobe to bring color 3D printing to Adobe CC users.

According to a company press release, the collaboration’s goal is to eliminate the workflow and product barriers that prevent creative professionals from easily transforming their designs into 3D-printed models.

Currently, Adobe Photoshop CC users can send 3D files for production through Stratasys Direct Express. This is a native connection, the company states. Stratasys Direct Express is a self-service website that provides access to 3D printing via file upload.

“Stratasys is poised to help product designers, artists, engineers and makers push the boundaries of color 3D printing.
