SimulationForDesign Website Launched

It provides a browser-based FEA platform for design teams.

Fidesys LLC, a developer of finite element analysis (FEA) tools, has launched its SimulationForDesign website. This site focuses on the needs of non-simulation specialists to evaluate structural performance of design alternatives and make decisions early in the development cycle, the company states. The site will operate in Beta mode until March 31, offering reduced rates.

The website is run exclusively on a browser and also leverages Cloud resources. It can help design teams run structural and assembly analysis in an easy-to-use format. It implements FEA solutions from Fidesys and includes fully automatic mesh generation and project-based material property assignment.

“I am pleasantly surprised to see an innovative approach to reducing the expertise required for CAE as part of the design process” says Joe Walsh, CEO and founder of intrinSIM. “SimulationForDesign.com focuses on leveraging commercial grade meshing and solver technology in an attempt to improve the design process. Providing a streamlined method to enable better design decisions may open the door for significantly broader use of CAE.”
