Rapid Product Development Group, Inc.’s Rapid Injection Tooling (RIT) process provides complex injection molded parts in five to 11 days with a maximum part size of 170mm x 280mm x 70mm. RIT can accommodate undercuts (internal and external), complex details and features, and polished or textured surface finishes in injection molded parts.
A variety of thermoplastic and engineering plastic resins are available including glass-filled and high-temp materials. Mold materials including aluminum and steel are used for RIT construction, yielding tool life from 1,000 to 100,000 shots. Over-molding and insert molding are also available via RIT.
All formats of 3D data are accepted.
