ProgeSOFT Unveils progeCAD 2024

ProgeSOFT, developer of CAD solutions, has released progeCAD 2024, the DWG/DXF-native CAD platform integrating 2D/3D CAD design functionality and tools. Released on the new IntelliCAD 11.1 engine, progeCAD 2024 offers enhanced performance, and fast operation in 2D and 3D design modes, greater automation, more design commands and new features to facilitate daily tasks of a CAD manager, according to the company. There are no changes in progeCAD perpetual licensing solutions provided at fixed low prices.

The progeCAD 2024 release offers the WHOHAS command to display information about an open drawing file, the REGENVISIBLE command, the Smart Join command to join lines, polylines and splines in a single polyline, BREAKATPOINT, CENTERMARK and CENTERLINE. The new version also reinforces 3D functionality adding a series of new commands and features for better 3D navigation and visualization: 3DWalk, 3DFly, 3DPositioner, SURFEXTRACTCURVE, the ViewCube command and new UCS creation through selection of a solid or a surface.

progeCAD 2024 extends Table creation and management capabilities through improvements and new features such as Excel data linking enabling data import/export from or to an Excel spreadsheet file, XLS Import, Blocks Preview in table cells and the new -Table command to insert tables without using a dialog box.

There are some new industry-specific features: the MAPINSERT command, the MAPIMPORT command to insert geometries from SDF, SQLite and SHAPE files or to use database server services like WFS, PostgreSQL or MySQL; Import IFC and REVIT with Layers, the GEOMAPSERVICE command, an improved geolocation function with a new dialog box to add a geographic location to a drawing. 

progeCAD Professional is a 2D/3D DWG/DXF CAD supporting AutoCAD DWG versions 2.5 - 2024 and ensuring full compatibility for sharing DWG/DXF drawing files. progeCAD Professional does even has extra tools included for free, such as 3D PDF export, the PDF to DWG converter, the Vectorizer, the Block Libraries Manager, the EasyArch plugin, the Artisan Render module, and multiple file formats support to exchange data with other software applications. progeCAD is a DWG CAD platform used by engineers, architects, construction professionals, interior designers, real estate developers, and product designers.
