Eurocom Corporation(Napean, ONT) is launching an upgradeable mobile workstation, theSupernotebook, featuring a 19-inch display, 64-bit AMD Turion64, anddual-VGA Nvidia GeForce Go7800GTX technology, according to materials received at DE.

The new EUROCOMM590K Emperor has a 19-in. WSXGA+ TFT LCD screen with native 1680 x1050 resolution. The 290-nits of brightness ensures that even in directsunlight you can see the display clearly. Upgradeable graphics choicesinclude dual 256MB DDR3 Nvidia GeForce Go7800GTX cards, a single 256MBDDR3 ATi Mobility Radeon x800XT Platinum Edition board, or thesingle-VGA Nvidia GeForce Go7800GTX. The M590K EMPEROR has beendesigned as a high-end engineering solution suited for modeling, 3Dsimulation, publishing, and graphics.

The M590K offers up to 2 GB of DDR400 RAM and up to 120GB 7,200rpmSATA-2 hard drive, 8x Multi DVD Burner and 4-in-1 media card reader.The notebook uses the AMD Mobile Turion64 (35W) MT-37/40 processor with1MB L2 cache and the ensemble of a internal TV Tuner, 802.11a/b/gwireless LAN, Bluetooth, 1Gigabit Ethernet, five USB 2.0 ports,FireWire, HDTV port, DVI-I port for dual display, and all standardports.

As a mobile workstation, the M590K Emperor is designed tobe physically larger than typical notebooks, says Eurocom. It comes equipped with adesktop-like, full-size 102-key keyboard with separate numeric keypadand an integrated WebCam for video conferencing. The system weighs14.33 pounds.
