Citius Corporation’sKBMax configuratorsupports SolidWorks 2010 3D CAD software to provide increases in both design quality and production efficiency, according to Citius.
SolidWorks users can implement KBMax for the automatic creation of 3D models, BOMs, CAD drawings, office documentation and price quotes.
The new version of SolidWorks improves designers’ and engineers’ productivity with new capabilities like rapid dimensions, enhanced mirrored components, and heads-up mouse gesturing. Designers and engineers can use KBMax and SolidWorks software to customize rules and constraint functions in order to rapidly create complex product configurations and manufacturing outputs.
“Engineers spend precious time on software complexity or the potential problems of jumping between separate applications,” said Nick Iwaskow, manager, Alliances at Dassault Systemes SolidWorks Corp. “Combining KBMax’s configurator with SolidWorks 2010 3D CAD enables engineers to focus on innovation, quality, and efficiency instead of how to use software.”
