JETCAM International has released version 24.05.01 of its flagship JETCAM Expert CAD/CAM software, introducing features and enhancements for sheet metal fabrication.

Key highlights of this release include:

Availability in 32- and 64-bit versions, allowing users to take advantage of modern hardware
Performance enhancement when generating NC code after nesting, along with other performance gains when working with complex/dense nests.
New options for JETCAM Expert 1, including Free Form Automatic Nesting (Read Only) and 2D Routing support
New Skeleton Parting Tooling functionality for punch and punch/laser machines
Automatic Remnant Cutoff capability for laser, punch, and combination machines
Improved nesting algorithms and automation features
Enhanced installation options suitable for enterprise security IT requirements
Nine new postprocessors added and updates to existing postprocessors
JETCAM Expert v24 is available immediately free for customers with current maintenance contracts.
