EnvisionTEC will feature its new Perfactory 3D printers at the Midwest Design and Manufacturing Show. The company plans to present its latest 3-dimensional prototype manufacturing systems, which have a projector resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.
At the heart of all EnvisionTEC systems lies the Texas Instruments DLP technology, which, with its Digital Micro-Mirror Device (DMD), can expose each entire layer in one pass. This technology is intended to increase build speeds without sacrificing part accuracy or detail. According to the company, eliminating the need for laser scanning ensures 100% build time predictability and it can build multiple components in the same time it takes to build one, as the time per layer remains the same regardless of the amount of parts or level of detail.
