Partnership boosts PTC’s technical capabilities for Design Group clients.

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group has joined the PTC Partner Network with authorization to resell Windchill, PTC’s product lifecycle management (PLM) software, and ThingWorx, PTC’s industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform. With this new partnership, Design Group is positioned to deliver value-added solutions for its clients by leveraging industry experience, domain expertise and technical capabilities.

Design Group—the engineering, consulting and technical services division of Barry-Wehmiller—provides enterprise technology and other consulting services for companies in various key sectors, including industrial and advanced technology. With PTC, manufacturers, partners and developers can advance IIoT and augmented reality technology.

Through the PTC Partner Network, companies can innovate with technologies, collaborate with partners and clients, and benefit from digital transformation opportunities, according to PTC. By joining, Design Group will be able to offer its clients access to complementary solutions and services to expedite their design, development, implementation and production time.

“Our partnership with PTC will enable Design Group to accelerate our clients’ digital transformations by combining PTC’s world-class software products with Design Group’s rich history of providing technical services to a wide range of industries,” says William Fricks, Design Group partner.
