Celeritive Technologies has signed an agreement with Kansas-based aerostructure manufacturer Spirit AeroSystems for the use of Celeritives VoluMill technology.
VoluMill generates toolpaths that produce a consistent material removal rate. According to the company, the toolpaths’ smooth, flowing motion establishes and maintains ideal milling conditions in any part shape. Reduced forces on the spindle and cutting tool enable machining hardware to be safely utilized to its full capabilities. Uniform chip formation and heat dissipation result in reduced cycle times and extended cutting-tool life.
This opportunity to work with Spirit AeroSystems, one of the worlds largest non-OEM designers and manufacturer of aerostructures, is without doubt an important milestone demonstrating our continued growth and commitment to the manufacturing industry, said Terry Sorensen, Celeritives CEO.
