The 3DBOXX RTX Series, a 64-bit workstation designed for demanding video and high-performance visualization from BOXX Technologies Inc. (Austin, TX), is running the new Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors 5300 series. The workstation is designed to house up to 15 data drives for up to 1GBps of storage bandwidth.
Built for heavy multitasking in VFX, the features of the 3DBOXX RTX Series Workstation include two PCI Express x16 slots, two PCI-X 64/133 MHz, a PCI Express x8 using x4, two 1394a Firewire, two USB 2.0/1.1, two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, two Internal 3.5 in. hard drive bays, ten swappable SATA/SAS 3.5 in. hard drive bays, two 5.25 chassis option, two 600 Watt EPS Power Supply, and an optional rack mount.
