Avatech Solutions, Inc. has announced the release of an updated version of its Avatech Utilities for Revit. The new release works with the 2011 version of the Autodesk Revit software platform,  and also comprises three new productivity-enhancing tools.

“Once again our seasoned development team has contributed value to Autodesk customers around the world,”  says George Davis, CEO, Avatech Solutions. “We are delighted to bring indispensible tools to the marketplace to enhance the overall Revit experience. The introduction of three new programs to the 2011 bundle will be of significant benefit to the Revit user.”

This package of Revit tools was developed by Avatech’s Software Development Group in conjunction with Avatech’s Revit experts. The tools were designed to save Revit users time by automating repetitive tasks and eliminating manual re-work.

The three new tools in Avatech Utilities for Revit 2011 are:

  • Element Renumber, which works with elements such as grids, levels and doors, and enables automatic renumbering.
  • MEP Parameter, which allows updates across an entire piping or mechanical system, makes quick work of updating such things as insulation thickness, lining thickness, and system type.
  • Parameter Copy Wizard,  which enables information to be copied between parameters across the whole Revit model.
  •

In addition to the new tools,  Avatech Utilities for Revit 2011 features updates to Room Renumber, Grid Select, Change Case, Door Mark Update, Revit Content Browser, Space Update,  Earth Connector for Revit, and Room Phase Copy.

Avatech Utilities for Revit 2011 is available for download. A promotion of $99 per seat for the full version of Avatech Utilities for Revit 2011 runs through to July 31, 2010.
