ASVIC Releases ZWmech for ZWCAD 2010

ASVIC has released ZWmech, an integrated engineering add-on for ZWCAD.

ZWmech is a customizable add-on that includes an array of engineering modules, including mechanical, piping, ducting, and structural.  The Mechanical module contains utilities for drawing a vast range of fasteners, bearings, shafts,  sprockets and several configurations of material handling rolls and conveyors. The Piping module is equipped to draw in orthogonal, isometric and P&ID. The Ducting module is capable of drawing round, rectangular, and flat-oval ducting. It also simplifies the creation of complex duct drawings, according to the company. The Structural module draws structural shapes from several common standards for building most structural components like beams and columns. Other features available in the package include: Auto-Bill of Materials (BOM),  management of layers, and design parameters.

“The new add-on by ASVIC is a great addition to our software.  It harnesses users’ developing capabilities,  while speeding up the process at the same time.   I am confident it will satisfy the needs of our customers and prove to be a reliable addition,” says Truman Du, CEO of ZWSOFT.

Customers will be able to download and test the software free for 30 days, and then may purchase the product for less than $500.

For more information, visit ASVIC’s ZWmech site.
