ZWCAD+ 2015 Released

New features include Reference Manager, Super Hatch and an updated user interface.

ZWCAD Design, a provider of CAD solutions for the MCAD and AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) industries, has released ZWCAD+ 2015.

Among the new features of ZWCAD+ are:

  • Unicode — The platform now fully supports Unicode, enabling all design information to be easily and accurately exchanged.
  • Sweep — More sophisticated objects can be created by sweeping an open/closed planar curve along an open/closed path.
  • Loft — More complicated models can be made by specifying a series of cross sections.
  • Google Earth — Import graphic snapshots from Google Earth to review the final results on a real map.
The new software also includes time-saving tools such as Reference Manager, Super Hatch and an updated user interface. With Reference Manager, users can track and organize all external resources in a drawing, and spot any missing resources. Super Hatch enables creation of unique hatch patterns.
