ThermoAnalytics Version 12.2 Now Available

Updates include directional glass and enhanced distributed solvers.

ThermoAnalytics has released the latest version of its software. in version 12.2, the top features focus on improvements that increase usability, efficiency and customization, the company states. Functionality for BRDF, CFD (computational fluid dynamics) Coupling and Thermal Reports have all seen significant enhancements in usability, closer aligning these features.

Among the main improvements include:

  • Directional Glass for more accurate predictions of solar load and location.
  • Distributed Solver updates for better load-balancing models and models with a large number of patches.
  • Convection Spatial Data and CFD Coupling
  • Thermal Reports
  • Design Temperature Table
  • CAE Coupling
Additionally, BRDF rendering can now be displayed in both units of apparent  temperature and radiance results. A new CoTherm Journal interface lets users create files using custom Python code or recording any GUI (graphical user interface) operation.
