The Foundry has release the newest version of its MODO platform. Version 901, according to the company, has new creative tools and enhances workflow and productivity. The platform is to launch in late May and has over 100 new features.
Some of the updates include:
- Better Booleans and integration of MeshFusion;
- Progressive texture baking, featuring preview capabilities;
- Improved tools for everyday modeling tasks, such as Topological Symmetry, Split and Fill Slice, Quad Fill pattern mode and Multi-edge slicing;
- Layered multi-resolution sculpting;
- And the ability to transfer multi-resolutions displacement vectors between meshes.
