Tatsoft LLC has announced Tatsoft Factory Studio for the Apple iPad and iPhone. Tatsoft FactoryStudio is a mobile data access client App for the Apple iPad and iPhone that is integrated with the Microsoft .NET Framework with “in the Cloud” support. The Tatsoft FactoryStudio App, running natively under the Apple iOS, enables mobile computing for Tatsoft’s customers as well as supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and human machine interface (HMI).
When coupled with the Tatsoft FactoryStudio software configuration environment, running on the Microsoft .NET Framework; the user has a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) graphic designer tool. The WPF tool allows for the creation of fully functional custom graphic displays, tabular data displays, trend graphs and charts, as well as reports and key performance indicators (KPIs), to deliver and present, in real-time.
Users creating applications can use the Tatsoft FactoryStudio features for cloud collaboration, where a distributed team of engineers and developers, using the FactoryStudio Software as a Service (SaaS) capabilities, can share project configurations and work, as well as information and data, with engineers, developers and analysts from other locations in their company, or other companies, simultaneously.
According to the company, the Tatsoft FactoryStudio software suite is a full-featured, .NET, 100% managed code, SCADA/HMI/PIMS System, with WPF Graphics, Alarms, Events, .NET languages scripting, Reporting, Historian, Data Acquisition, integrated with SQL databases, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, OSIsoft PI, and external corporate applications.
During the next quarter, the Tatsoft FactoryStudio App for iPad and iPhone will only be available to Tatsoft partner companies and select end users, who will provide their user experience feedback, after that, the general public will have access through the Apple Store.
