Xcentric has established a strategic partnership with Stratasys Direct Manufacturing. The partnership will enable Xcentric to extend its additive manufacturing capabilities by outsourcing 3D printing projects to Stratasys Direct, giving Xcentric customers the ability to order online and access Stratasys Direct's fleet of more than 200 industrial-grade printers across eight facilities in North America, the companies report.

Stratasys Direct offers an array of additive manufacturing services, including FDM, PolyJet, stereolithography, laser sintering, SAF, MJF and DMLM, plus a suite of secondary processing and assembly services.  Xcentric customers can use these services when ordering projects through Xcentric.

“Partnering with Stratasys Direct was a strategic and obvious choice given their deep expertise and experience in additive manufacturing services,” says Matt McIntosh, CEO of Xcentric Mold & Engineering.

“Additive manufacturing is becoming an increasingly mission-critical part of any manufacturer's operations, and Stratasys Direct has built its capabilities and expertise to meet that growing demand at a world-class level of quality and consistency,” says Josh Metzger, director of Business Operations at Stratasys Direct. “Our additive manufacturing services will complement Xcentric's core services, which will benefit Xcentric's customers by providing a broader range of manufacturing services at their fingertips.”

To learn more about Xcentric's 3D capabilities, they will host a joint webinar with Stratasys Direct on May 5 at 1 p.m. EST, to discuss “When to Use Additive Manufacturing vs Injection Molding” (register here).  If you have a 3D project requiring assistance, request a quote here. To review Xcentric's additive manufacturing services, click here.
