SolidProfessor (San Diego, CA), a SolidWorks Solution Partner focused on self-paced multimedia training experiences for SolidWorks and SolidWorks related software, has released Update Training 2007 for SolidWorks.
The self-paced multimedia training course is intended to help designers get the most out of their SolidWorks upgrade, which includes more than 200 enhancements. Some of the topics covered in Update Training 2007 include General Enhancements, Sketching, Parts and Features, Assemblies, Drawings, Detailing, and Sheet Metal.
“We’ve aligned our release to match the release of SolidWorks 2007 thus ensuring that our customers can start using all the great new enhancements in SolidWorks immediately,” said Jason Wright, product manager for SolidProfessor.
Included with Update Training 2007 is a “Search-On-Demand” productivity add-in for SolidWorks. This new feature comes as part of the complete SolidProfessor Learning Management System, which includes features such as automatic course updates, a custom course builder, online testing and reporting, and exercises with downloadable part files. The SolidProfessor content library includes SolidWorks courses from beginner to advanced, as well as training for PDMWorks, PhotoWorks, CAMWorks Mill Fundamentals and more.
Planned for release in the third quarter of 2007 is a course for Cosmos users, as well as a SolidWorks course in Spanish.
