Science and Engineering Services LLC (SES) has announced it will be expanding its manufacturing operations in Huntsville, AL. The company offers maintenance, repair and overhaul services for helicopters, airplanes, ground combat systems and unmanned aerial vehicles, an article published in The Huntsville Times stated.
SES plans to spend approximately $70 million and create 450 new jobs at its plant, the article states. The expansion will span more than 1.3 million square feet, and include hangar, manufacturing and integration space in four facilities. It will also include a new office space, aircraft parking spaces and a helipad.
According to E.J. Sinclair, chief executive officer at SES, this expansion will benefit existing customers, new programs supporting the Department of Defense, foreign military customers and aircraft original equipment manufacturers.
