Romer (Wixom, MI) released a PowerINSPECT 4315 upgrade for customers under warranty or participating in the company’s software maintenance program. The release delivers support for multi-axis on-machine verification and compatibility with the AIMS Metrology System implemented by leading aerospace manufacturers.
AIMS compatibility allows PowerINSPECT to share CAD data, inspection plans, and measurement results with other measurement platforms.
A new graphical user interface is designed for ease of use and reduced training times. A color-coded scheme identifies points to be measured, and a “bouncing ball” approach guides the operator through the inspection sequence.
