Saying it is responding to customer feedback, ProgeSOFT(Como, Italy) announced more than 50 improvements have been made inProgeCAD 2006 Professional 6.1.8 in the areas of dimensions, texthandling and true type fonts, cut and paste between drawings, VBA andLISP programming, Audionotes, and editing functions.
ProgeCAD 2006 Professional includes a library manager fordiscipline-specific symbols, ACIS 3D solid modeling, raster imagesupport, rendering, and a specific set of tools. ProgeCAD softwaresupports the DWG design file format, from version 2.5 through 2006,plus it offers compatibility with AutoCAD menus, scripts, blocks, VBA,and AutoLISP programming, etc.
According to a press release about the new version, ProgeSOFT plans anupgrade to the ProgeCAD DWG Viewer, which includes a review, measure,and plotting tool for AutoCAD drawings as well as important new markupfeatures, by the end of May.
