Paradigm to Distribute Seiko’s LP-1010 Teriostar Printer

Paradigm Imaging Group (Costa Mesa, CA), a provider of large-formatscanning and document management solutions, is now distributing theTeriostar LP-1010 large-format, LED, high-speed networked printer fromSeiko/Infotech (Escondido, CA).  The Teriostar printer will beavailable through the Paradigm reseller channel as both a stand-aloneproduct and bundled with Graphtec (Santa Ana, CA) color scanners andthe Paradigm Rocket Scanner Controller.

The Teriostar LP-1010 provides 3.4 E-size prints per minute and 6.2D-size per minute. Resolution is 600 DPI, and it can print documents upto 3-feet long. Supported network interfaces include 100Base-TX and10Base-T Ethernet, USB-2, and Centronics.

User features include the ability to choose between two different papersizes or let the printer select the appropriate paper size for thedrawing. Its large display is said to provide excellent visibility andeasy operation. The photo cartridge drum is user-replaceable,eliminating service calls.
