Owl Computing Named Specialist ICS Security Tool Provider

Owl Computing Technologies, a cybersecurity solutions provider, has been named a “Specialist ICS Security Tool” provider by Gartner Inc. This, according to the company, means that it is specialist provider of network security solutions for industrial control environments.

Industrial control systems (ICS) are used in automation for a variety of applications and processes in oil and gas, electricity generation, water treatment and more. As these systems become more connected with the Internet of Things (IoT), firms are needing to address growing security problems since ICSs are less-isolated from outside networks and systems—making them more vulnerable.
