Oce (Venlo, the Netherlands) recently announced the upcoming availability of the Oce TDS700 large-format monochrome printer, a mid-volume system that prints, copies, and scans technical documents.
The modular design of the Oce TDS700 has thousands of different hardware and software configurations, including optional color scanning, to create a personalized system. “With a robust, configurable printer, a choice of two scanners, multiple media configurations, a variety of finishing options, and a suite of software tools, it fits the way you work both now and in the future,” said Sal Sheikh, vice president of marketing for the Wide Format Printing division of Oce North America.
The system handles up to nine D-size prints per minute and provides more than 10,000 sq. ft. of uninterrupted printing capability. It has a six-roll media capability and an ergonomically-designed roll loading system. It allows for concurrent processing of the next file while the previous file is printing.
The base configuration consists of the Oce TDS700 printer with two rolls, a manual sheet feed, an integrated receiving tray, and the embedded third-generation Oce Power Logic Controller. As a core system, the Oce TDS700 is poised to handle mid-volume jobs, yet can be upgraded to support monochrome or color scanning, folding, or high-production cut sheet stacking.
The Oce TDS700 is expected to be available soon. For more information, visit oceusa.com.
