The NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) is 10 weeks away, but the company is hosting previews via the GTC Live Chat Series. During the chats, GPU technology personalities answer questions in real time.
On July 22 at 11 a.m. PDT, David Kirk, NVIDIA Fellow and former chief scientist, will be chatting about parallel programming and GPU architectures, where the GPU will be in 10 years, what needs to happen to make GPUs more general purpose and the latest about parallel programming.
He will also be available for questions about his new book co-authored with Wen-mei Hwu: “Programming Massively Parallel Processors: A Hands-on Approach” The book is designed to teach students and professionals how to program within massively parallel environments.
