Nikon SLM Solutions has officially validated Oqton’s 3DXpert build processor after an extensive joint program. The validation marks a milestone in the companies' collaboration, helping advance industrial-scale AM through open, integrated software-hardware ecosystems, the companies report.

The validation follows months of technical cooperation between Nikon SLM Solutions and Oqton, bringing together Oqton’s intelligent 3DXpert software platform and Nikon SLM’s laser powder bed fusion technology. The result: a fully validated, production-grade workflow.
