GKS Inspection Services (Detroit, MI) adds to its offerings high-accuracy laser tracker services as a complementary measuring tool.
Services from GKS already include 3D laser scanning, dimensional inspection, and terrestrial laser scanning.
The new Laser Tracker is portable and versatile, making it a good fit for measuring and aligning onsite large parts, assemblies, and machinery used in such applications as installing and aligning large machinery in power plants and aerospace manufacturers, as well as for tool building and part inspection. Additionally, the laser tracker is good for reverse engineering tasks that employ items that do not fit within a work envelope.
One of the great values of a laser tracker is that it performs discreet 3D measurements quickly and with a high degree of precision, and can capture and interpret 3D shapes generated in any coordinate system.
