The GOM ATOS ScanBox is a 3D scanning inspection system that is engineered to industrial standards and provides short delivery time and fast set-up, according to the company. The system includes an ATOS Triple Scan digitizer, robot, rotary stage, software, safety house, and more.
The plug-and-lay measuring cell for automated 3D digitizing and inspection measures different object sizes, surface finishes and complexities, and provides accurate 3D coordinates; full-field deviation to CAD, 2D, and part-to-part; section-based analysis; and complete measuring reports.
Although the ATOS ScanBox only requires 11m squared floor space, it is possible to measure parts up to 2m cubed. The ATOS ScanBox is available in a smaller variation requiring only 5m squared for measuring smaller parts.
According to the company, suppliers including Daimler, Volkswagen, Rolls Royce, Bosch, Eisenwerk Br hl, Dr xlmaier, Delcam and others are using the solution.
