October 3, 2007 — NEC Display Solutions of America (Itasca, IL) announced the extension of its MultiSync 70 Series with the introduction of the MultiSync LCD2470WVX widescreen display. Featuring a productivity-enhancing 24-inch screen, the LCD2470WVX is designed specifically for corporate environments.

Using NEC’s Rapid Response technology, which is available on all MultiSync 70 Series models, full-motion, lifelike video display offers response times of 5 ms in more than 16 million display colors.

Incorporating Ambix dual analog and digital input technology, the display is certified with Windows Vista PREMIUM and offers Advanced Dynamic Video Mode, which enhances brightness, color, and contrast, making it suitable for users in search of advanced technology, rich features, and top performance at an affordable estimated street price (ESP) of $589.99 US.

The four-way ergonomic stand for the MultiSync LCD2470WVX monitor lets users easily adjust the display’s pivot orientation from landscape to portrait, the as well as height, tilt, and swivel to suit preferences, applications, or environments. This versatility with orientation is in addition to the display’s ultra-thin frame bezel, which enables multiple-monitor configurations.

The LCD2470WVX monitor comes packed with advanced features, such as No Touch Auto Adjust, which eliminates the hassle of adjusting screen controls when connecting the display to a new system, and NaViSet software, an intuitive graphical user interface that allows screen adjustments via mouse and keyboard.

The Dynamic Video Mode (DV-Mode), which enhances contrast and brightness, comes with five settings (Standard, Text, Photo, Gaming and Movie) that allow the user to set the monitor to a specific setting to best meet the application needs.

Peripheral connections to scanners, digital cameras, and mice are easy using a USB hub; and all MultiSync 70 Series models comply with the EPA’s new Energy Star 4.0 Tier 1 requirements, providing energy-efficient desktop performance.

Other features include XtraView, which enables users to see an accurate image from off-axis viewing angles; cable management organizes and discretely covers display cables for a clean work space; a standard three-year limited warranty including backlight; and 24/7 NEC support.
